About Dr. Suzanne Ferreira
SERVING SINCE 2012
Doctor Ferreira obtained her MBChB degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2012. After graduating she worked in various government hospitals across the country, gaining valuable skills in different fields of medicine.
After starting a family in 2017, she and her family moved back to the Western Cape where she started practicing medicine in the private sector.
Being a mother of two little boys (with a third on the way), Doctor Ferreira enjoys working with families. She is experienced in managing a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses.
After completing a course in Botulinum Toxin injections and Dermal Fillers in 2019, Doctor Ferreira developed a special interest in Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine. Since then she has received ongoing training improving her skills as Aesthetic Practitioner.

Do you offer telephonic consultations?
Although a face-to-face consultation is preferred, virtual or telephonic consultations can be arranged if a physical consultation is not possible.
Can you submit a claim to the medical aid on my behalf?
The practice is registered with most medical aids and we will submit the claim on your behalf providing that you have funds available.
You will be liable for any amount not covered by the medical aid.
Are you available after hours?
We try to limit consultations to normal working hours. If you are unable to come for an appointment during normal working hours, a special arrangement can be made in certain circumstances. An additional fee may be charged for an after hours callout.

What is the difference between Botulinum Toxin injections and dermal fillers?
Botulinum Toxin gets injected into specific muscle groups. It prevents the muscle from contracting and therefor also reduces the appearance of dynamic wrinkles.
Dermal fillers consists out of hyaluronic acid. It is used to treat areas of volume loss. By adding volume, facial lines are softened and a more youthful, plump appearance gets restored.
What is the cost of Botulinum Toxin injections?
Dr. Ferreira only uses Botox® at the practice and it gets charged per unit. The total cost of a treatment gets determined by the areas treated and the amount of product used. The final cost can only be determined during your aesthetic consultation as treatments gets individualized for you and your aesthetic goals.
